There is a weekend G.O. in which the 2 Train operates in two sections. One section is between South Ferry (since the Clark Street Tubes undergo renovations on the weekends thus preventing 2 and 3 Trains from running to Brooklyn) and 96th Street, and the other section is between East 180th Street and Eastchester-Dyre Avenue (not Wakefield-241st Street). In the Manhattan section, since 2 Trains do not have access to Unionport or 239th Street Yards, the 2 Train borrowed some R62s and R62As from the 1 and 3 Lines for service, thus resulting in this rare occurance. This is something that would normally never happen in normal service because the 2 Train shares equipment with the 5 Train, so changing all the rollsigns would be hard, especially for a route change at Flatbush Avenue. Anyway Enjoy the video and Thanks for Watching!
