We went to St. Albans, Queens to meet Charline Ogbeni – a NYCHA resident turned first-time homebuyer, she just moved from Queensbridge Houses into a newly-renovated house that she purchased with her husband Peter thru the Small Homes Rehab-NYCHA Program – a collaboration between us, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Fund for Public Housing and non-profit developers like Habitat for Humanity NYC.
